DOT Kenya Awards Outstanding Interns
The second group of Interns under MasterCard Foundation funded DOT ReachUp! program recently completed their nine month internship journey at a colorful graduation ceremony. During this event, Interns who had made a major difference in their communities and in their own lives, were feted.
Anne Patterson Visits DOT Kenya
Last week DOT Kenya was privileged to host Digital Opportunity Trust's Community Manager, Anne Patterson. Anne spent an entire week interviewing DOT Kenya Interns, program participants, and staff about their DOT experiences in preparation for DOT's upcoming 10th anniversary celebrations.
Nairobi: 124 Nairobits Participants Graduate from the ReachUp! Program
On 30th March 2012 DOT Kenya Interns based in Nairobi Florence Kirai, Harold Macharia, Fatuma Ramadhan and Charity Kariuki organised a closing ceremony for the Participants who were undergoing the ReachUp! Program in Youth Initiative Kenya (YIKE), Diligent, Kibera Community Youth Program (KCYP) and Maji Mazuri respectively.

This week Evans Njoro celebrates the beginning of his second year as DOT Kenya's Country Director. He reflects on conversations he had with colleagues from Rwanda, Ethiopia and Canada at the DOT Global/Eastern Africa Regional Retreat, last week at Naivasha.
