DOT Kenya Goes Green, Holds Tree Planting Ceremonies Throughout Country
Ever since the passing of Environmentalist and Nobel Laureate Wangari Maathai on September 25th, individuals, institutions and organisations throughout the world have been planting trees in honor of her great saying, "Ukiona Shimo,Tia Mti" ("If you see a hole, plant a tree"). DOT Kenya has introduced 5 experience hubs for new Interns to help enhance skills and prepare Interns for the job market place.
DOT Kenya has introduced 5 hubs for new Interns. The hubs are aimed at helping to enhance Intern skills and prepare DOT Kenya's Interns for the job marketplace. Interns will work within their hub teams under the guidance of a hub leader, who will assist the teams in developing events, learning strategies, outreach activities, and more, all based around the hub's central theme.
DOT Kenya's five hubs are:
- Monitoring and Evaluation Hub
- Careers Hub
- Information Technology Hub
