Management Team

Eunice Maranya - Country Director (Interim)

Eunice is a management and institutional development specialist. She has over 15 years of banking experience and over 7 years of consulting for large donor, private and public sector organizations in a range of areas. She provided valuable consulting work for DOT in 2010 and 2011 and functioned as a management coach for the DOT Kenya management team between July 2012 and October 2012.

She is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration; holds an MBA from the United States International University and a BSc from the University of Nairobi. Eunice is a certified lead auditor to ISO 9001 standard and holds formal corporate director qualifications. She is a Board member in the Competition Authority of Kenya and she has also served several boards including the Board of Directors of the Communications Commission of Kenya and is a past chair of the Kenya Civil Society Alliance.

Robina Mwaura - Program Manager (Nairobi, Central, Eastern and Coast Regions)

Robina Mwaura is a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Economics and Sociology graduate of the University of Nairobi. She is a former ReachUp! Intern (October 2006-April 2008), and was among the first group of DOT Interns in Kenya. As DOT Kenya's Program Manager for the Nairobi, Central, Eastern, and Coast regions of Kenya, Robina has a keen interest in community development and working with youth.

Godfrey Atiel - Program Manager (Western, Nyanza, Rift Valley and North Eastern Regions)

Godfrey Akumali is DOT Kenya's Program Manager for the Western, Nyanza, Rift Valley, and North Eastern regions of Kenya. Godfrey joined DOT in August 2010 after six months as a vilunteer for the Kenya Episcopal Conference, Peace and Justice Department. Godfrey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Program Management, Monitoring and Evaluation from the same university. Godfrey is highly motivated and passionate about inspiring young people to success.

Daisy Tuzo - Communications Manager

Daisy is enthusiastic about youth and development; she believes that youth have the ability to empower themselves towards creating their own realities and success in today's competitive world. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Cum Laude - Honors) in International Relations and an Executive Masters Degree in Organizational Development from the United States International University - Africa.

She has experience and expertise in building networks, volunteer management, managing internal and external relationships, research, proposal development, resource mapping and fundraising, public relations and communications, event organization and execution.

Daisy is keen on steering DOT Kenya's brand to greater heights!

Walter Kamau - Finance Officer

Walter Kamau is a former ReachUp! Intern (2009). He is a Certified Public Accountant (K) and a Certified Public Secretary. Prior to joining DOT, Walter previously worked for Digital Concepts as a Finance Officer, and for Olive Farm Ltd as an Accountant. Walter also volunteered for DOT Kenya as an Accounts Clerk before he became the Finance Officer in September 2009. He is passionate about technology and enjoys travelling.

Kevin Kathuka - Program Manager (IBM CSC/ESC program)

Kevin has over seven years of experience in project management and marketing. Prior to joining DOT Kenya, he worked as a Project Manager in the USAID - Yes Youth Can program under The Youth Banner, and was responsible for the economic empowerment program in Nairobi slum areas. Kevin has also worked in the media industry as a Marketing Executive, in a consulting company implementing the IFC 'Get the Edge!' program and in a community driven value addition agribusiness initiative. He holds a bachelors degree in Commerce (Marketing) and is passionate about economic empowerment for marginalized groups especially disadvantaged youth and women.
